'Jennifer's Body' Soundtrack To Feature Panic At The Disco, Dashboard Confessional, Silversun Pickups & Little Boots

Speaking of music, the trailer of "Jennifer's Body" -- the teen horror comedy written by Diablo Cody, starring Megan Fox -- also notes that the film's soundtrack will feature the likes of the previously announced All Time Low as well as Panic At The Disco,White Lies, Dashboard Confessional, Cobra Starship, Silversun Pickups and Little Boots - who is surprisingly the only female artist named despite Cody's views of horror as a feminist genre and the trailer's musical reflection of that.

Randall Poster (all the Wes Anderson films, any movie that's remotely hip) is doing the soundtrack supervision. Why are you surprised at all? He gets all the good music supe jobs. We also hear that The Sword might end up in the film, but we're not sure if the Austin rockers made the cut or what. Amanda Seyfriend, Johnny Simmons and Adam Brody co-star. "Jennifer's Body" hits theaters September 18.

I have a feeling the Cobra Starship song will be Good Girls Go Bad. :/

It wont be Good Girls go Bad because thats ft Leighton Meester, and they would've mentioned her.

The Panic at the Disco song will be "New Perspective" of of their new CD that's coming out in September. I AM SO EXCITED! I LOVE Panic at the Disco! Especially Brendon Urie.. :D
"Raindrops on roses
and girls in white dresses
it's sleeping with roaches
and taking best guesses
shed all the sheets
and before all the stains
and a few more
least favorite things"
Build God Then We'll Talk by Panic at the Disco! I love them, as i said before... YAY! Aww i am sad that Ryan Ross and Jon Walker left... oh well! I know that they will make good music and i respect their decisions... Actually, it's kind of awesome because in a way it's double panic at the disco only not! :D

but prob going to be "new perspective"
for cobra, might me good girls go bad ft. leighton meester
and for all time low, i have a feeling of either "damned if i do ya (damned if i don't)" or "weightless".
i am a HUGE fan of these three bands.

I am surprised they are not putting Hole's "Jennifer's Body" on there. That would be perfect!

Hole is on there as a bonus track

Judging on the soundtrack (Cobra Starship, Dashboard, etc) they’re definitely playing it up to girls/teenie boppers. In fact, they left off some awesome songs that were actually in the movie like “Sacre Couer” by It Dies Today, and I think that might be because they’re trying to aim this at teen girls and that song, cool as it is, might be deemed too heavy by the corporate dudes. Lame. I guess I'll just have to make my own mixtape version of the soundtrack.

Still, kickass movie that has the right mixture of gore, camp, and dark humor.
